The Dutch ship, Helena Thecula, Captain Hendrick F. Diepenbrock, is on shore in Doonbeg Bay, coast of Clare. Having drifted in there during a fog. She was on her voyage from Palermo to Liverpool, laden with Sulphur and Shumach. Should the weather become moderate she may be got off; if otherwise, she will become a wreck. Wreck sold at Auction in Doonbeg in April 1855.
